My writing career began when I was an angsty high schooler. Teen Ink Literary Magazine published three of my short stories, and that was enough validation to keep me going for the next decade!

Since then, I have written hundreds of marketing campaigns for LinkedIn Learning, Google, and other ed-tech companies. I also write picture books that celebrate Chinese American immigrants who find a sense of belonging by learning from each other and their heritage.

I live in Brooklyn with my partner, Jade, and a wok named Walter. When I’m not writing, I’m leading food tours in Chinatown or performing at The Moth open mics.
