When I was a kid, I loathed Chinese language lessons. My momma always said “You’ll thank me one day,” and sure enough, being able to speak my native tongue helped me excel at the Shanghai branch of POSSIBLE, a digital advertising agency. Thanks, momma!
This internship introduced me to Google Analytics and the Chinese market. I put together monthly PowerPoint reports for the Fendi website and Eyeshine campaign, designed an Excel scorecard for Dow Corning’s Electric Vehicle Battery campaign, ran Nike email marketing analytics, and wrote some English copy for the new Shanghai Disney Resort website.
I also visited the Shanghai Disneyland before its grand opening to the public. Spoiler alert: Disneyland is just as magical in China.
